Hi! Welcome to Learn It Town. What is thanksgiving?
Thanksgiving is a family holiday. Friends and family come together from all over the country, from all over the world to share the holiday. This happens in November.
The Thanksgiving holiday is celebrated in the United States and Canada.
Young and old will gather together for a Thanksgiving dinner. A traditional Thanksgiving meal is roasted Turkey and dressing. Family favorite foods are served and many desserts.
After the meal, everyone is very full. They say they are "stuffed." The dishes will be cleaned. Then the family members will watch football, play games and share stories.
Thanksgiving is a time to be thankful. People are thankful for their health, for their food and for spending time with their family and friends. What are you thankful for? Learn It Town is thankful for you! Have a great day!
