Speaking in Simple Past
Today, the elementary and pre-intermediate students had a great time talking about the past. They used simple past sentences.
They spoke with a focus on their -ed pronunciation (t, d, or ed) and irregular verbs. We talked about how their countries were different in the past from today. I had students in Hungary, Libya, Russia and Saudi Arabia. It was very informative.
Where are you from and what was your country like 30 years ago?
