A student dressed in a Snoopy avatar ran the camera for the Learn It Town Broadcasting show “Live with Emerald”. It was a shock to audience members as they walked in and saw a dog with a yellow bird on his head.
Today the students did several talk shows. This is where one student interviewed two students. The students being interviewed could make up a character or be themselves. In this interview, Emerald (Saudi Arabia) was interviewing Tina Toshi (Netherlands) as herself and Leslie (Slovakia) as an Oompa Loompa from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory. Emerald had questions given to her by the teacher, but she also added her own. She seemed to be a natural host of a television program.
Tina Toshi is a builder of clothing for avatars. She is a retired Wedding Dress maker. Her clothing designs are wonderful. She said she was inspired by Laura Jeffcoat (CEO Learn It Town) and Coco Chanel.
Leslie as the Oompa Loompa had the audience laughing with his true and shocking performance as the Oompa Loompa. He stated that Willy Wonka kidnapped him and his family when he was a small child. That forced them into slavery to make chocolate. He also said that the only children he had seen in his life, where the 5 children who came to visit the chocolate factory years back. He hopes for freedom from slavery and to develop his own brand of chocolate.
Attending a STEM lecture with my students on “Instructional Applications of Free-Energy Physics”
We had 10 of our Learn It Town students attend from around the world, chemist, engineers, teachers, retirees, doctors, businessmen etc. Physics is amazing when taught in a virtual world. The professor was brilliant! My head did not explode. But our students are now wanting to make a Rube Goldberg device group project!
