Something that made me very proud of myself

AFTER

Finally I was able to use my English skills in my job and you are wondering how? Well let me tell you about this experience that has been great for me.

As many of you know, I’m the person in charge of a workshop for a graphics company that works anything and everything related to the advertising. One of the things that we usually do is to organise special events for local institutions.

This week it took place in an instituional building of my city a special meeting of UNODC (United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime) and the participants came from all over the world. So I had to organize a welcome desk in the hall of the palace where I had to register people and create a special pass that allowed them to get into every room of the building.

By sitting in a chair in front of a PC with a webcam, I had to ask for their passports or ID cards, take a picture of each of them and givethem extra information about the meeting. They were from the Nederlansd, Switzerland, Germany, Great Britain, Belgium, Montenegro, Qatar, Nigeria, Japan, Mexico, Brazil and more. I thought about all of you, and all the things that I have learned thanks to you. It has been unbelievable!!!

Let me conclude this story by saying that I didn’t earn any extra money for this, but I earned something more precious. What? A deep confidence in my English skills. All of this isl thanks to you

Many thanks.
